What is this lighter for?

This is a long-awaited appliance for those, who enjoy the cosy calm around the fireplace or the matchless taste of barbecued food.

Using a fireplace and grilling are truly great experiences, but both of these are preceded by an uncomfortable ‘ritual’, which no one can avoid: lighting the fire.

Sometimes this simple process ruins the whole experience. Sometimes, people refrain from using the fireplace or the barbecue on account of this. There already exist rudimentary attempts to solve this problem, but these still come with difficulties, and sometimes even with dangers and side effects damaging one’s health and the environment.

The time of poky lighting is over: the practical solution has arrived!

From now on, You decide when You want to light the fire in the fireplace or heat up the barbecue embers for cooking.

With the fireplace and barbecue lighter you can light your fireplace and heat up your barbecue embers in a fast, effective and nature friendly way – and all this without lighting fluid. On the top of this, one lighting costs only around 0.2 Euro Cents!

The lighter is Swedish invention of high technical quality. It is also perfect as a present: the one who gives it can be proud of the idea, while it is 100% certain that it is going to provide the one on the receiving end with numerous nice moments – which will thus remind him/her of You. Besides being extremely practical, it definitely is pleasing to the eye!

What are the benefits?

Lighting the fireplace in 1 minute,

heating up the barbecue embers in 2 minutes,

no need for lighting fluid anymore,

cheap: only 0.2 Euro Cent per lighting,

free of materials harmful to your health,

environment friendly,

fast and clean,

safe,

Swedish design,

it can be set on its feet or hanged.

USE SEASONED FIREWOOD: Seasoned firewood has around 20 percent moisture content and should be stacked and dried for six months before burning. Seasoned wood is easier to light and will burn more readily and efficiently. The type of seasoned firewood also impacts the fire. Hardwoods such as oak, hickory and elm tend to produce a longer-lasting fire.

BUILD SMALL HOT FIRES: To reduce emissions, use smaller pieces of seasoned firewood and build small hot fires.†

START A FIRE WITH A FIRE STARTER: The best way to start a wood-burning fire is with balled newspaper and kindling or a solid fire starter.

USE MANUFACTURED FIRELOGS: Sawdust manufactured firelogs (no wax) are ideal for occasional use in a traditional fireplace to cut emissions. Sawdust-only firelogs can be used in both fireplaces and wood stoves and also reduce wood smoke.

There are two main factors that determine a safe and draft effective venting system:

Safety (i.e., distance from the roof and combustibles, etc.)

Draft capability of venting system. It must satisfy the draft requirements of the appliance.

To pass inspection in nearly any jurisdiction, the chimney must meet both safety and draft requirements. The (3′ by) 2′ by 10′ rule applies to both masonry and factory-built chimneys.

To determine if you are in compliance with these requirements, ask yourself the following questions:

Is the highest point in which the chimney passes through the roof at least 3 feet below the top of the chimney? (must answer YES)

Measuring down 2 feet from the top of the chimney, then 10 feet horizontal in any direction. Does horizontal measurement come in contact with roof or any part of the home? (must answer NO)

If after you have read this and you still have additional questions, please contact us!
